It's Okay that you're not Okay, Meeting grief and loss in a culture that doesn't understand
It's Okay That You're Not Okay
By Megan Devine
A compassionate guide through grief
Grief changes everything, yet so many people feel pressure to "move on" or find a way to fix what can't be fixed.
It's Okay That You're Not Okay offers a different approach. Written by therapist Megan Devine after the sudden loss of her partner, this book gently challenges the idea that grief needs to be overcome. Instead, it acknowledges that loss is something we learn to carry, and that being heard and understood can be more helpful than being given advice.
Whether you're navigating the loss of a loved one or supporting someone who is, this book provides comfort, understanding, and reassurance that there is no right way to grieve.
